How to submit your website to Dmoz directory?

Dmoz also known as  Open Directory Project (ODP),where you can submit your site at free of cost. Google uses the DMOZ data for their directory, though the listings are sorted differently, in descending order according to PageRank.So in this article we are going to see about how to add your site to dmoz directory.ok let’s start





Here are the steps to submit your site to dmoz,

*Go to  dmoz.org 

*Then click on the category,that belongs to your site  and on next page click suggest url

*On the next page enter the correct information about your website

*Then hit submit button

*If you have succesfully submitted your site,you will see this screen

*Done,now you have added your site to dmoz directory.

Note:Once your site has been accepted into the Open Directory, it may take anywhere from 2 weeks to several months for your site to be listed on partner sites which use the Open Directory data such as google etc…
