In this article ,we were going to discuss about google authorship.If you notice carefully,you would see that image of author(owner) appears on left of the google search engine results.(I,e) because it is google verified site.To know about how to get authorship for your website,Follow the below steps,

In order to verify google authorship,you’ll need a google + profile with good headshots as your profile photo.
step-1:go to “google plus”
step-2:create a profile if you not have.
step-3: Then go to this link Authorship page
step-4:Enter the email address (such as akshay@mywebtution.com) on the same domain as your content domain.Then click on signup for Authorship.After that you will receive an mail from google.just clock on that link and follow instructions given by them.
Note:If you didn’t have business email address (eg:yourname@anything.com),skip this step and continue to step-5.
step-5:if you not have business email,then use this method to get authorship.
*Create a link to your Google+ profile from your webpage, like this:
<a href="[profile_url]?rel=author">Google</a>
for eg:”<a href="https://plus.google.com/106188752309473375312? rel=author">Google</a>”
Note:Your link must contain the
?rel=author parameter. If it's missing, Google won't be able to associate your content with your Google+ profile.step-6:go to Contributor To section. Edit the settings as In the dialog that appears, click Add custom link, and then enter the website URL.
step-7:Click Save.
Note;If you want, click the drop-down list to specify who can see the link ,If you want to not display your google + profile in search results .edit your profile (using http://plus.google.com/me/about/edit), and make sure the Profile discovery option Help others discover my profile in search results is unchecked.
